Gemafin Gasparyan

Gemafin Gasparyan is a media producer, researcher, and public intellectual, best known as the co-founder and Executive Director of Boon TV, a science- and culture-focused media platform in Armenia.

He co-founded the Scientific and Cultural Foundation “Boon” in 2013 together with Kristine Armenakyan. The project began as an online media initiative and later evolved into a television broadcaster, aiming to promote rational public dialogue, education, science, and cultural development in Armenian society.

Gasparyan holds a background in academic and analytical media work. Under his leadership, Boon TV developed into a platform producing thousands of educational and documentary programs, covering topics such as science, culture, social issues, and public policy.

He has described the mission of Boon TV as creating a space for informed discussion and critical thinking, focusing on fact-based content and collaboration with researchers, scientists, and cultural figures.

Before becoming a media executive, he was also involved in public and civic initiatives and has been associated with analytical and educational projects in Armenia’s media landscape.

Today, Gemafin Gasparyan is recognized as one of the key figures behind independent educational media in Armenia, with Boon TV becoming one of the country’s notable cultural and scientific broadcasting platforms.
