Boon TV
Boone is a multi-platform educational and cultural media initiative designed for creative individuals seeking to expand their intellectual horizons. Its mission is to foster a society that actively engages with and values the outputs of science and the arts.
The organization is grounded in the belief that education should be open, free, unrestricted, and accessible to all. Boone focuses on creating open-source resources for self-education, increasing the visibility of scientists and artists, and developing platforms that promote science, art, and learning. It also works to cultivate a culture of rational debate, encourage pluralism, and provide civil society with a space to advocate for democratic values.
Founded in 2013 by Kristine Armenakyan and Gemafin Gasparyan, the Boone Scientific and Cultural Foundation operates several key platforms, including Boone TV, AudioBOON radio, the Bonus online learning platform, and the Detector analytical website.
Boone contributes to shaping public discourse around science and education by building a dynamic repository of 21st-century Armenian knowledge. The organization collaborates with local and international partners, developing joint projects and providing technical and professional support. Over the years, Boone has produced and published more than 5,000 pieces of content across various formats, including programs, analytical articles, research studies, and educational video series, working with over 1,000 researchers, scientists, and artists.
Since 2022, Boone TV has been a member of Armenia’s media self-regulation initiative and operates in accordance with the Code of Ethics for Armenian media and journalists, as well as related professional guidelines.
